Notes
Is Australia on your Bucket List ?
Over 5 million people visit Australia every year, it’s one of the most exotic, varied and huge countries to visit. The original inhabitants are known as the First Australians, and in 1770 Captian Cook claimed the land for the British monarchy and it became a convict colony in 1788.
The country is still part of the British Commonwealth and King Charles is Head of State, and indeed is an unusual mix of British culture and exotic landscapes.
In this podcast we talk about Sydney, Hamiliton Island in the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru formally known as Ayres Rock.
